Make The Georgian House your base for some of the greatest sporting events in the UK. Head to Royal Ascot for a flutter or watch the Royal Hunt at The Hennessey. The Henley Regatta and Silverstone Race Track are just an hours drive, or 15 minutes by helicopter.

The Georgian House is based at the foot of the North Wessex Downs. There are many miles of private roads and bridleways leading directly from the property up to the downs, neighbouring villages and ancient Ridgeway, so long walks and cycle rides can begin at the garden gates.

Locally available activities include hiking, golfing, boating, horse-riding and fishing, and the architectural and cultural delights of Oxford are just 25 minutes away by car. Numerous renowned village and riverside pubs and restaurants are also within easy reach, at least five of them by foot or bike.
