Spend the day at the beach.

Set in a sheltered bay surrounded by evergreens and pines, Blackpool Sands is an award winning family beach that offers so much. With sand pits, a bathing raft, the famous Venus beach cafe and shop. Hire a wetsuit and snorkel and try your hand at surfskiing, kayaking or boogie boarding.

Slapton Sands is a picturesque and popular beach with some of the UK’s rarest flora and fauna, great for young explorers. Try surfing, windsurfing and canoeing.

Challaborough is a small beach that has great waves and is popular among surfers and body boarders all year round.

Dartmouth is a haven for water sports, with lovely sandy beaches too.  You can enjoy the buzz of the village, go canoeing, kayaking, sailing or windsurfing.
