At The Loft, deep in delightful Kingham, you’ll slide gracefully and gratefully into the arms of Cotswolds luxury. Wallow happily amid limed-oak flooring, beams, and arts-and-crafts furniture. Then pop out for a pint past the honeyed houses dripping with clematis and period charm.

Sleeping six in style, The Loft is a feast of family fun right on the doorstep of one of Britain’s top gastro-pubs. There’s tennis and croquet in the garden, movie nights, toys and books indoors and a chef on hand for relaxed refuelling.

Gardens and Pool

Feeling active? The Loft shares its pool and gardens with four other small cottages close by. Play croquet or tennis on the lawn and courts. Take a dip in the wonderful indoor pool with changing rooms and views overlooking the gorgeous gardens. Then relax and exfoliate in the gorgeous Turkish steam room.

The swimming pool complex is also home to a large entertainment room with a dining table, lounge chairs and a large TV complete with Sky Sports and Movies to ensure there’s never a dull moment. Exclusive use can be arranged on request.

Open Plan Living and Dining

There’s room to relax here in a house on the edge of England’s best village.

The simply stunning loft apartment is accessed by an external stone staircase and enters into a wonderfully light open plan space with limed oak flooring, beams and some interesting arts and crafts period furniture.

Kingham is heaven for good food. The Kingham Plough, one of the best gastro-pubs in the country, is a short walk away. There are a couple of other pubs too, where you can grab a pint during your stay.

Of course, if you’d like to dine in that can be arranged too. Help yourselves to the well equipped kitchen. Or line up a top chef and set up the table in the entertainment room next to the pool. We offer everything from casseroles dropped off ready for the oven to waitress-served in-house catering.
