Gorgeous Georgian Glamour

Stately meets sophisticated, regal gets relaxed at this gorgeous Georgian house. Relax by a roaring fire, chill in the cellar games room, take in the pool and tennis court. The true meaning of friendship is time, and it’s available in abundance here.

The ultimate in stately sophistication

The Georgian House is the ultimate in stately sophistication. A luxurious Oxfordshire country house that feels like coming home. Here you can celebrate life with family and friends in a house that’s as grand on the outside as it is Baroque and roll on the inside.

Built for reunions, for taking over and making your own, The Georgian House is large, lavish and luxurious. There’s much to do here in deepest Oxfordshire, or much not to do. From bar billiards to bathing in the outdoor pool, and from relaxing by the roaring fire to tearing round the tennis court.

There’s an interior designer’s touch in the splendid kitchen/diner; a touch of Capability Brown about the grounds. The furniture and fittings are regal in the extreme. Yet the kids can set up camp in the huge playroom with a cinema screen while you chill in the cellar games room.

This is a grand house with a double staircase for the grandest of entrances, but it’s got its feet firmly up on the formal dining table as it admires the lovely views. Make it your home, make merry and make some memories.

Pool and Gardens

The Georgian House has 30 beautiful acres of parkland for you to explore and enjoy during your stay.

Within the 30 acres there is a private outdoor swimming pool, with pool terrace. Perfect for water babies and those wanting to soak up the rays, this is a lovely sun trap for enjoying those summer days that memories are made of. The outdoor pool may be heated on request between May – September.

If you fancy getting a bit active, head over to the summer tennis court. Open from April to October, it’s a great way to get your pulses racing and for the kids to let off a bit of steam.

Spend your days wandering through the many acres of gardens and grounds at The Georgian House, see what wildlife you can spot or just take a picnic down to the trout river. There are also ample dog-friendly countryside and woodland walks right on the doorstep of The Georgian House.

If the grown ups fancy a game or two then head to the vaulted hall, for a game of table tennis or pour yourself a tumbler of whiskey and set up a match on the fully restored bar billiards table.

Cooking and Dining
