Parsons Pleck

Sleeps 12-14 Pershore, Worcestershire

Share a wealth of space in comfort with light and character

As you take your first steps through Parsons Pleck the first thing that grabs you is the openness of it all. There is a confident balance of modernity and traditionalism, colours and neutrals; bright and edgy chairs partnering the rich browns of a fading leather chest and elegant drawers.

Welcome to something different, something familiar

There’s plenty to marvel at from first entry and all the way around to the rear annex offering added privacy and options for games – and a shorter walk to the pool!

Everyone will soon find their favourite spots, whether it’s tucked away beneath the vast selection of new and old books in the hallway facing part of the glass front; chatting in the kitchen as something wonderful is in the works; challenging someone else to a game of table tennis or stretching out in the cosy TV room.

Every feature speaks character and compliments its neighbour, from decorative bowls with a twist to the original dining table, made entirely from a pine beam from the old roof.

You might forget you’re in Worcestershire before long. But just gaze out through the huge glass front and you’ll be reminded of the country setting as the neighbouring sheep graze at their leisure. You’ve only just arrived and already you feel at home…

Pool, gardens and grounds

Grab a Nespresso, slide open the glass doors and let the morning draw you outside. There’s no need to rush, so sit, relax and reflect on the perfect beginning to your holiday. Sleep well? Silly question. What you’re really wondering is how to make the most of it all.

Soon you’ll venture from the terrace to the lawn, a perfectly intimate space with trampoline and fenced pool. Swim a few laps as the kids bounce the afternoon away. The smoke from the BBQ smells of summer and it’s time for a refill.

The sheep can carry on happily with their own business over the way as you and your family spread out or come together – set the table, relax and ready yourself for your first special evening…

Living spaces

There are three main living spaces, each promising comfort and variety. Closer to the main kitchen, the open-plan living and dining space is perfect for all to dine and relax in and a great layout for those hoping to throw a party or celebration, with effortless access to and from the terrace.

Making your way through the kitchen, you will find the lounge, set with brickwork walls stylishly decorated. Pick out the movie, settle in and watch as the evening unfolds, almost in reach of the kitchen’s Nespresso machine and large fridge-freezer with ice maker.

If play is the mood, make your way to the annex, where you’ll find table tennis, Wii console, another TV station and a keyboard – as well as a second kitchen. Challenge family and friends to a game or two before dinner, and on your way back pick out a Clancy or a Dickens from the great range of books in the hall. With all tastes to choose from and an accompanying lounger, you can have that library feel with all the comforts of home. Shhh…

Cooking and dining

Ready to cook up a storm? Your new kitchen certainly is. With a full array of quality appliances and all the fine wooden surfacing you could wish for on which to prepare said masterpiece, there’s no excuse. Let’s get started.

"Tussie's beautiful house was the perfect setting for a long weekend in the Cotswolds, so perfect we rarely left it! We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived at the property. The best part... A SWIMMING POOL! The property has very obviously been designed with care and attention to detail. The best endorsement I can give is to say that I'll definitely be back...with more friends! Thanks for the terrific surprise Tussie" - Sean
"The space, the pool, the deck, the beautiful bedrooms No improvement necessary. Keep up the great work!" - Guest
"It's very spacious and very stylish. It's a wonderful modern open plan interior with views out into the garden and countryside beyond. A real 'grand design'. We took our dog and the walks from the house were perfect. We also took our toddler, who loved the garden and my elderly parents who loved the peacefulness of the property and garden. I found the kitchen to be exceptional, well kitted out with everything I needed and a great layout. A brilliant party house as well as a great house to chill out. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. It's ideal for just a few people or a large group, it's so spacious. We all had a wonderful time, we didn't want to leave and will be renting it again in the future. Thanks Tussie!’ - Anna
