Kids in the Cotswolds
For a day of animal fun head to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. You’ll get a train ride through the grounds, an adventure playground and of course the lions, zebras, hippos, penguins, fruit bats, monkeys – and lots more.
Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park is another great day out, especially for younger children. You can feed the animals, ride a tractor and learn about rare breeds. Or head over to the Cotswold Water Park to try your hand at sailing, kayaking or a high ropes course. Riding lessons can also be arranged close by.
Bourton-on-the-Water is a great destination for families, with Birdland, a miniature village, motor museum – and lots of ducks to feed!
Make the most of the toys and games at Weir House. The wendy house is a particular favourite.
For the Grown Ups
Head to Kingham and visit the Kingham Plough. Enjoy traditional ale and one of the best pub restaurants in the UK. Also close by is Daylesford, the smartest farm shop in the country. Fabulous organic food and a great cafe.
