For a day of animal fun head to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. You’ll get a train ride through the grounds, an adventure playground and of course the lions, zebras, hippos, penguins, fruit bats, monkeys – and lots more.
You’ll find lovely woodland walks and magnificent Birds of Prey shows head down the road to Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre. You don’t need to do any thing other than relax in the house, soak up the views and head out to one of the many other fabulous gastro-pubs nearby after exploring some of the beautiful local villages. Blockley, Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh are all a few minutes drive from Wellacres.
