Fun-loving family gatherings and unforgettable parties

Escape to the magic of Maesbrook and let loose in this vast, private estate that is yours to explore. A blank country canvas, this backdrop for memorable moments is limited only by your imagination.

Plan a shoot, learn archery or for a really unusual new hobby, you can even take a lesson in dry stone walling! Prepare to be pampered and create a home spa or a private yoga retreat. The only dilemma will be what to do next.

Kick back and relax – there’s no standing on ceremony. Throw your freshly caught trout on the barbecue, pull up a hay bale, and pop open the beers. Gather around the fire pit to recount tall tales and create fresh memories. Just add toasted marshmallows and let the laughter roll.

As night falls, you’re in no better place to stargaze in the peaceful surroundings of 50 acres of woodland. Enjoy panoramic views of dramatic sunsets and listen to the call of night birds summoning their young. When it’s time to turn in, cosy modern cottages await with roaring log burners, homely sofas and comfy country bedrooms to rest weary bodies and minds.

Hot Tub, Gardens and Grounds

Nestled in the Wye Valley, Maesbrook boasts commanding views in every direction. There are 50 acres of farmland and woodland to explore, including woodland trails, ponds and streams. For large events, there’s space in abundance for a marquee, and all the necessary infrastructure to bring on the bands and host your own private music festival. You can tackle every field sport imaginable, so get competitive with an It’s a Knockout competition, or find inner calm with yoga at sunrise.

Lounge in the hot tub or take afternoon tea on the terrace. In the summer months, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pond followed by Pimms on the lawn and a game of croquet. With barbecues and a fire pit, you’re all set to dine under the stars. Finish the night on a high with a mesmerising firework display.

Peace and privacy are yours for the taking, so gather your favourite family and friends and indulge yourselves in stunning surroundings where the only sound to break the silence will be the call of the night owls keeping watch.

Children welcome

Children will love the games barn with pool table, table football and table tennis – they’re separate enough from the house to have fun and get away from the grown ups, yet close enough to stock up on drinks and nibbles.

Let the older children disappear into the grounds and enjoy a game of football, and the freedom to make as much noise as they please… Cartwheel across the lawn or race from end to end – see if they can wear themselves out before bed and work up an appetite for burgers in buns fresh from the barbecue.
