The sea provides a vast playground to enjoy a variety of sports, from sailing and jet skiing to the excitement of windsurfing, where Hunstanton offers some of the best conditions in the country for windsurfing.

The kids are sure to enjoy a day at Snettisham Park. There are many exciting adventures, from seeing lambs being born, to the deer safari where you will meet our magnificent red deer herd. You can bottle feed lambs, collect farm fresh eggs, as well as taking a walk on one of three wonderful trails.

An amazing variety of animals from Otters and Penguins to a full Seal rescue facility and hospital are available at the Seal Sanctuary. Classic walk through tunnel, touch pool, interactive rock pool and pirate ship play zone.

Visit a traditional rare working windmill with bakery attached, at Bircham Windmill. Kids can climb up and explore inside the mill and bake their own bread, pet the farm animals after and then go on a little family bike ride

For those that like a good pint, West Norfolk has a wide variety of real ales and ciders on offer, many produced from the arable lands of Norfolk itself, including the popular ‘Norfolk Ales’ range of beers, and ciders produced by a regional brewery using traditional methods.

Foodies include many rural cafes that produce traditional home-cooked food and baked cakes. One of the Guild of Fine Food’s ‘Britain’s Best Delis’ can also be found in Burnham Market.

Rob’s Claybusters clay pigeon shooting experience and Quasar Elite’s laser quest adventure in King’s Lynn are great for practising your sharp shooting.

If you’re looking for something a bit more relaxing why not venture inland and go boating on the peaceful Fens Waterways, enjoy the wide open landscapes the area is famous for.
